The research area of this doctoral programme is within the Embedded and Networked Systems group (ENS), part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS or EWI in Dutch), and the focus is to enable communication links using visible light. Although this technology has been researched for a few years already, our approach is to use natural or unmodulated light, the most abundant optical energy source.
